Decades of History in St. Louis
Beishir Locksmith has proudly served St. Louis and the surrounding areas since 1972. Over the decades, Beishir has built its reputation on quality products, honest advice and unbeatable service for homes, businesses and vehicles.
At Beishir, we view every lock and key problem as a puzzle. With our knowledge and experience, we piece together the right solution for each customer, from a single rekey to a building-wide master key system.
Where it all began
Ted and Jeanette Beishir started Beishir Key & Lock, Inc. in 1972 from their basement in South County with one service vehicle and a dream of owning their own business and providing the best service in the St. Louis area. Two years later they opened the retail location at 5423 S. Lindbergh, where the shop has been ever since.
Ted Beishir, Jr. and his wife Heather purchased the business on January 1, 1998, and in 2006 doubled the size of the S. Lindbergh location. Thanks to a loyal customer base, the company weathered the financial crisis of the late 2000s and came out stronger.
Starting in 2026, taking the reigns for the next generation, Beishir Locksmith is now owned and operated by Mark and Tammy Kenniston, James Mueller and Joe Sedlock. Together, this ownership group has a combined 57+ years of experience under the Beishir name, covering all aspects of the business from field service, sales, purchasing, marketing and general management. The lock and key shop on S. Lindbergh is still where you’ll find us, keeping the business grounded where it all began, providing professional locksmith services for all of your lock, key, safe and automotive needs.
What sets us apart?
We take a complete approach. We don’t just fix the lock in front of us; we look at the whole opening and point out other weak spots that might need attention. We pride ourselves on educating our customers and presenting options, so you can choose the solution that best fits your needs and budget.
With over 50 years of knowledge and experience behind the name, Beishir can find the right lock and key solution for your home, business or vehicle.
